Nail Geoscience Nail Geoscience has more than 15 years of experience within the Oil and Gas Industry. Operated by Robert Nail, who has geologic consulting experience in the management, coordination, integration, and execution of studies in biostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, and petrophysics. Robert has directed and participated in several clastic and carbonate onshore and offshore geologic field evaluations worldwide, including Gulf of Mexico, Permian Basin, offshore China, offshore west Africa, North Sea, Brazil, Venezuela, and Argentina. He is an active member of the AAPG, SEPM, HGS, and WTGS. He is a licensed Texas Geologist (#1872), and earned his education from Texas Tech University (Ph.D. and B.S.
